An 18th Century palace with cloister and enclosed gardens; one of the most romantic venues for an Amalfi Coast wedding reception and honeymoon!

The palace was the former summer residence of Emperor Napoleon’s brother-in-law. Its elegance has also charmed other great personalities from the writer Steinbeck to ballet dancer Rudolph Nureyev. The property has been in the same family for several generations and runs the palace hotel with care and attention to detail. The highlight of this location are the amazing gardens with lemon groves, rare tropical plans, brightly coloured blooms and spectacular centenary "Bouganvillea" tree.  Your Positano wedding and reception can take place in the gardens which at night are lit up by fairylights and candles for one of the most romantic settings imaginable.

The Palace Hotel is situated in the heart of Positano, near the "Piazzetta dei Mulini" and the beach "Spiaggia Grande", which is reached in few minutes through a small street with picturesque boutiques and shops in one of the most enchanting corners of Positano. For a romantic Positano wedding reception this location is both private and secluded yet literally just steps from the beach. There is an old and new part to this hotel and both parts are beautiful and very harmonious – the minute you step into the walled palace and its gardens you will feel as if you’ve left the world behind!
