Weddings in Cernobbio, Lake Como

Cernobbio is one of our favorite Lake Como wedding locations; the town lies at the feet of Mount Bisbino and has been one of Lake Como's most popular resorts for centuries for wealthy families and aristocrats.  Cernobbio is just a few minutes from the Swiss border and within 45 minutes from Milano.

The lakeside promenade with its beautiful fountains and lovely main square are a must see as is the old quarter with its picturesque streets and charming shops. In the evenings and on week-ends families and couples can be seen enjoying the traditional stroll: "la passeggiata".   If alpine climbing and hiking is a passion of yours there are some excellent trails that allow you to explore the stunning panoramas up close.

Wedding receptions in Cernobbio are celebrated at the incredible Cardinal's Villa, one of Italy's finest wedding locations. The 17th century villa with its stunning park is a wonder to behold. Civil ceremonies in Cernobbio are performed at the town hall, an elegant Liberty style villa that is only 5 minutes walk from the Cardinal Villa.
