Civil Weddings in Torri del Benaco, Lake Garda

Oh how we love this enchanting little town!  We can't think of a better location for a Lake Garda wedding with its fairytale castle dominating the entire panorama, the lovely harbour with brightly colored boats bobbing in the waters and the beautiful streets and buildings.  Best of all, the local authorities have set aside 4 different wedding ceremony locations including the Scaligero Castle itself! 

Climbing up the steep castle stairs you will reach the top turret which is where ceremonies are held outside.  Due to the limited space a maximum of 15 guests can be allowed and standing room only.  For larger groups there is the romantic lemon grove inside the castle; ideal if you seek to be near nature.  The castle houses a boat and fishing museum which are the third location for wedding ceremonies.  Finally, for large groups a former church, within walking distance of the port is another option.  The walls still reveal very old frescoes dating back to the middle ages and would be beautiful decorated with floral arrangements and soft lighting.

Please be advised that Monday mornings is Market day in Torri del Benaco.  The town is quite busy and crowded until about 1:00pm.
