Castagnola Villa - Lake Maggiore

This 19th Century villa is an absolutely spectacular location for an Italian Lakes Wedding.  Built high on a promontory, Colle della Castagnola, in the vicinity of Verbania Pallanza and overlooking Lake Maggiore, the villa has a beautiful park and romantic flowering gardens. It was purchased in 1896 by the poet and musician Marquis Silvio della Valle di Casanova and the painter Sophie Brown who determined to turn what originally was an old chalet into a glorious villa. It took 30 gardeners to create what your eyes will enjoy!   Majestic trees, incredible views of the Lake, flowering terraces and romantic walkways will delight your eyes.

Civil ceremonies in this Lake Maggiore Villa are held inside the Music Room - Sala della Musica, which is beautifully furnished with original antiques and precious works of art.
