The church is reached from the main piazza via footpath with sweeping views of the cliffs and waters. It was originally built in 1154 and subsequent additions were made in 1691 and 1760 with a final restoration completed in 1950. The outside is a beautiful pastel yellow and white and the interiors are decorated in pristine white marble and stucco, elaborate hanging chandeliers, and paintings. The general atmosphere is one of elegant intimacy and the church is ideal for smaller weddings; the maximum capacity is 60.
