Fine Restaurant & Gardens

We can think of no better setting for your wedding reception in Rome than this beautiful restaurant with romantic gardens along the Appian Way. The restaurant has been owned and managed by the same family since 1890.

The elegant interiors are filled with impressive works of art dating back to Roman times, and each room is decorated in a unique, formal style. An ancient wisteria tree overlooks the stunning courtyard with gardens; also strewn with antiquities. There is a miniature temple under which a romantic dinner can be arranged or a symbolic or Protestant ceremony be performed.

The upscale cuisine is that of the Lazio region, reflecting only the freshest local ingredients with beautifully presented dishes. The wine cellar is exceptional.

Expect only the finest linens, crystal and silverware; this is a first class establishment.

  • No minimum/maximum number for Rome wedding receptions.
  • Symbolic and Protestant ceremonies are possible in the gardens.
  • Maximum number of guests for a garden reception: 130
  • Indoor rooms hold: 48, 20, 24, 60, 180 each.
  • All menu costs include menu printing, flower centrepieces and a wedding cake.

Aperitif and Light Appetizer Bites

Buffet del norcino
: assorted fried vegetables, assortment of local cured meats and cheeses; San Daniele prosciutto, roasted porchetta loin, Auricchio cheese served with sweet marmalade.

Buffet del mare: seafood buffet of oysters and sea urchins, prawn salad, raw scampi, tiny octopus and fried squid.

Wines served during aperitifs

Dentex fish en papillote with martini dry sauce served with steamed vegetables and roman artichokes with wild mint.
