Regarding a civil ceremony in Florence

  • In addition to the Sala Rossa it is possible to have a civil ceremony in the Sala di Lorenzo - Palazzo Vecchio (another magnificent museum hall) and the Rose Garden (summer only)
  • The ceremony is performed in Italian by an Italian official.
  • You must appear before an official for a sworn statement at least 2 business days prior to the wedding.
  • You are encouraged to personalize the ceremony with readings and music.


Availability
Civil weddings take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays,  mornings only. Early bookings are advised as demand exceeds availability and dates can only be reserved up to 6 months in advance.
