Elopements to Italy continue to grow in popularity; there is something exciting about a bride and groom escaping to Italy for a romantic wedding in one of the country's many dazzling locations!

For the most part, an Italy elopement is a fairly last minute event and applies to civil, Protestant and symbolic wedding ceremonies only since the documentation required for a Catholic wedding takes a number of months to complete.

We offer elopement packages throughout the entire year and are able to make arrangements at very short notice. The exact time-line will vary depending on your nationality (if it is to be a civil ceremony). If you are eloping between the months of October and March there are SPECIAL OFFERS available.

Although generally for bride and groom only, an elopement to Italy can include a few guests as well and our staff will assist with accommodation requirements and any last minute travel arrangements.

Here is a sample civil wedding elopement to Italy package:

• Reserving and confirming your wedding location, the date and time.
• Civil ceremony performed by Mayor, or substitute, in Italian.
• Official English speaking interpreter; required by law.
• Constant e-mail correspondence with your wedding planner.
• Appointment for a declaration to be done several days prior to the wedding (this may vary depending on the location you choose).
• Elegant bouquet for the bride and matching boutonniere for the groom.
• Professional photo package: 2 hour service, minimum 200 high resolution shots on CD.
• Romantic dinner for two with Prosecco champagne.
• English-speaking interpreter for the declaration.
• Professional assistance in completing all legal requirements.
• Professional assistance in completing your Nulla Osta process and lodging documents with the appropriate Italian authorities. 
• On site coordination on the day of the wedding by a member of the Distinctive Italy Weddings team.
• Dedicated personal wedding designer to help you plan your event.
• Final confirmation of all booked wedding services and scheduling: 2 weeks prior to the wedding.
