A wedding in Tuscany already sounds amazing, but throw in the details of a wedding in Florence at Villa Cora which has unbeatable views of the renaissance city, and this just takes Italian wedding perfection to another level.
Basically a mini Versailles, the villa overlooks Florence from the breathtaking Piazzale Macchiavelli area. Steps away from the famous Boboli Gardens, it is in the perfect location: near enough to Florence, but still surrounded by nature because of its lush gardens. The villa recently underwent a major restoration, resulting in the already gorgeous villa becoming the ultimate luxury destination, overlooking Florence, and of course, a dream Italian wedding location.

Samantha and Jonathan chose this amazing villa for their lavish Italian wedding celebration. After an intimate Catholic ceremony in a historic Florentine cathedral, guests ventured to this hilltop villa for the dinner party.
Samantha wore an elegant long sleeved lace mermaid-style gown, with touches of sparkle that complimented her stunning teardrop earrings and luscious floral bouquet. Her style was a mix of old Hollywood glam, and timeless beauty. The bridesmaids wore cascading deep blue dresses, complementing the jewel-tone theme perfectly.
Choosing a palette of deep purples and golds, the whole feeling of the event was luxurious and regal.
Dinner was served in an opulent hall, adorned with sculptural crown molding, Italian marble floors, and imperial style tables. The delicious Italian cuisine was curated impeccably to fit the personal tastes of the bride and groom.
The dinner menu was as follows:
Cream of Lentil, Cod Fish, Prawn and herbs
Home Made Raviolo Filled with Ricotta Cheese and Prawns, Cabbage, Shellfish Sauce
Tender Beef Brisket, oyster plant, Green Sauce
Mascarpone Foam, Chocolate Crunchy Biscuit, Coffee Ice Cream
Wedding cake: Millefoglie with gelato
What better backdrop is there for wedding photos than in front of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence? The bride and groom were smiling on the sunny afternoon photo shoot around the historic city center. The eternal love feeling was defiantly captured.
Afterwards, the wedding party had a blast posing for photos around the extravagant Villa Cora.
Although Samantha and Jonanthan’s personal touches were apparent in almost all the wedding details, they did however, make sure to add an Italian touch by cutting a traditional Italian Millefoglie wedding cake, which was garnished with an intricate white chocolate design.
This luxurious wedding in Florence looked like it could have come straight out of a bridal magazine. Every detail was finished to perfection and oozed opulence.
Samantha and Jonathan’s day was truly a wedding in Florence to remember.
