Vincigliata castle wedding in Tuscany – Reyhaneh and Sam

In the hills of Fiesole, you will find one of the most exquisite Italian wedding venues near Florence – an ancient castle - Vincigliata. Located perfectly with a view overlooking the Tuscan countryside, the unique feature of this castle is its incredible panoramic position dominating the hills of Fiesole and its large romantic courtyard which carries you back to a more regal era.

This was the chosen location for Sam and Reyhaneh's intimate and extravagant wedding in Tuscany.
The guest list was made up of the closest family and friends of the bride and groom, making the whole celebration extra elegant and personal.
If you were to make a Pinterest board for a spectacular wedding in Tuscany, this would be it.

To kick off the celebrations the night before, Sam and Reyhaneh hosted a gorgeous welcome dinner for all the guests on a luxury hotel rooftop, with the best views of Florence.

The morning of the big day, preparations for the bride were held at the renowned St. Regis hotel, overlooking the Ponte Vecchio, with the most astonishing views of the renaissance city. Reyhaneh and her bridesmaids prepared in style, all donning matching floral satin robes, relaxing in a luxury suite.

On the castle's grounds, the outdoor ceremony was nothing short of breathtaking. Sam and Reyhaneh exchanged their vows in front of the rolling hills of Tuscany and teary-eyed guests.

Reyhaneh looked right at home at the historic castle, resembling a princess in a champagne coloured organza gown. She was stunning.

The bridesmaids wore flowing purple dresses in varying shades. The colours complimented the typical Florentine surrounding and added to the overall dreamlike feel.

The floral bouquets were composed of vibrant purples and fuchsia, adding a fresh and modern accent to the rustic-chic castle.

Reyhaneh and Sam were captured around the Tuscan castle and its landscape for a spectacular Italian wedding photo shoot. With a slight breeze in the air, Reyhaneh's beauty seemed ethereal.

As the celebrations went on, an amazing sunset filled the sky with intense purples and golds, perfectly matching the colour palette of the decor. The castle then gradually lit up with glowing torches and candles, creating a magical atmosphere.

Dinner was served in the picturesque courtyard and the lighting illuminated the antique space in matching colours. Guests were seated along an Imperial U shaped table adorned with violet floral centerpieces, accented by mercury glass and gold.

From Rey:

Hi Rosanna and Stefania, thank you so much! It was truly a fairy tale wedding and Sam and I enjoyed every last minute of it. It all went too quickly of course but we will always have the fond memories (and photos) to remember it all. I am in love with that dress too and wish I could wear it every day haha. I still can't believe what a magical day it was, and so many of our friends commented on the amazing setting and said it was the best wedding they had been to :). I think everyone had a great time and we do truly thank both of you and the whole DIW team for your hard work, guidance and support throughout the last year.

All of the vendors involved were utmost professionals, masters at their craft and we were super impressed with all of them.

AMORE was spelt out on the dessert table surrounded by beautiful black and white photographs of the couple, and there was no better word to describe the feeling when Sam and Reyhaneh cut the two-teared Tuscan landscaped inspired wedding cake.

To celebrate their already unforgettable Italian wedding, there were performances by belly dancers to entertain the guests, and encouraged everyone to hit the dance floor.

The overall feeling of the whole celebration was intense, emotional and surreal. Love was in the air of this magnificent Tuscan castle during Sam and Reyhaneh's lavish wedding in Tuscany!
