Magical Jewish Wedding in Amalfi Coast
Few settings in Italy are as magical as Ravello the jewel of the Amalfi Coast which was the chosen destination for a 4 day Jewish wedding celebration.
Guests flew in from the US, Canada and other parts of the world to be part of the many activities organized by DIW.
The event kicked off with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant and progressed with a spectacular day at the beach with an unforgettable buffet of typical Amalfi Coast cuisine in an ancient Saracen tower overlooking the Mediterranean. Cooking classes, kayak excursions, additional dinners and activities were planned in the days leading to the wedding.
The Jewish ceremony and reception were held at the luxury Belmond Hotel Caruso - one of the most exclusive venues in the south of Italy. Sunshine, deep blue waters, romantic gardens and breathtaking panoramas were the backdrop of this beautiful event.
The colour palette for the wedding day was champagne, blush and pale pink. During the aperitivo a traditional duo of mandolin and guitar serenaded the guests with local songs. After a very lively "hora" took place:)!
The formal dinner reception was served overlooking the sea under an elegant marquee by candlelight while the wedding cake and desserts were presented poolside where dancing (and a midnight pizza snack!) and music continued into the night.
