Wedding in Florence at Villa Corsini - Mezzomonte
In the renaissance city full of beautiful villas, few are as unique as the legendary Villa Corsini Mezzomonte.
The villa dates back to the Middle Ages and was one of the last residences of the most famous Florentine family, the Medici.
The villa boasts some of the most beautifully manicured Italian and English gardens in Florence and has a magnificent Grand Gallery - a feature unique to the villa's architecture.
Villa Corsini Mezzomonte is precisely where Victoria and Guido chose to have their custom designed wedding in Tuscany.
With sweeping views of the Tuscan hills as their backdrop, Victoria and Guido said their 'I dos' under an all white floral arch, acting as a window overlooking the Tuscan countryside.
An all white and cream colour scheme complimented the frosty green tones of the olive branches, which were used as accents. It was the perfect mix of lux elegance and authentic Tuscan countryside.
Throughout the garden stand Greek inspired stone statues, lemon trees and luscious olive leaves, which all framed the landscape to create the perfect romantic ethereal atmosphere. A floral arch was made just for the couple, creating a picturesque window looking out into the Florentine hillside. Needless to say, this made for the most stunning photos.

But before their Tuscany wedding ceremony, Victoria and her bridesmaids got ready in Torre di Bellosguardo's exclusive bridal suite, one of the city's most iconic villa hotels.
They relaxed, sipped bubbly, all while getting ready for the big day in satin floral robes, (but of course Victoria was in white).
The glowing bride wore her blond hair in a sleek chiffon accented by sparkling diamond necklace and studs. She donned a gorgeous v-neck ivory coloured A-line gown with a sheer overlay detailed with romantic lace.
The bridesmaids wore Grecian inspired mint green dresses, which went well with the pastel colour palette, echoing the greenery in the floral décor.
In true Italian style, Guido and his groomsmen opted for classic deep blue suits.
The 120 guests were left awestruck, as everything about the wedding was custom designed. From the menus to the seating charts, completely personalized to make the day seem entirely and authentically ‘Guido and Victoria’.
After the breath-taking outdoor ceremony, guests could wander in the villa's grounds, while Victoria and Guido took the most romantic photos amongst Villa Corsini’s olive groves.
In total Tuscan style, aperitifs were had outside in the garden, with a full spread of Italian gastronomic specialties.
Afterwards, guests moved inside into Villa Corsini’s gilded and frescoed Grand Hall, possibly one of Florence’s most beautiful banquet halls. A specialized menu was served, including Italian dishes, such as potato tortellone with sweet Gorgonzola fondue and Tuscan beef tagliata.
Opting for the traditional millefoglie Italian wedding cake, the celebration had the extra wow factor of the pastry chef constructing the cake live.
The evening seemed to go on forever as everyone danced the night away inside the Grand Gallery.
For a fun late night treat, guests could grab some artisanal ice cream from the gelato cart that wheeled its way onto the dance floor.
The entire day was curated to perfection, with the tiniest details being designed to exactly what Victoria and Guido envisioned. This Florence wedding was the ‘under the Tuscan sun’ dream celebration that truly became a reality.
