Lake Como wedding at Villa Serbelloni

Lake Como is undisputedly Italy’s most glamorous Lake and one of the most stunning venues for a Lake Como wedding is the legendary Villa Serbelloni. What a perfect venue to celebrate your destination wedding in Italy!

This five-star luxury Grand Hotel Villa is located directly on the lake in the enchanting village of Bellagio.

The villa has hosted many illustrious figures like Leonardo da Vinci, Emperor Maximillian I and Queen Victoria who spent a great deal of time here.

Today Villa Serbelloni offers hospitality to guests from all over the world and celebrates some of Lake Como’s most elegant weddings

A wedding at Villa Serbelloni offers the opportunity of sealing your love and saing “I do” surrounded by nature while enjoying the splendid panorama of Lake Como. This fairytale Lake Como wedding venue combines exclusivity and elegance with incomparable views of the lake and the Alps.

The day before the wedding, our bride and groom decided to treat their closest family and friends with a welcome dinner at the nearby Grand Hotel Cadenabbia. A great way to catch up and relax together before the big wedding day.

The ceremony was held in the gardens overlooking the lake, while surrounded by palm trees and blooms - guests enjoyed one of the most beautiful views in the world.

The stunning bride walked down the aisle holding a bouquet composed of jasmine, eucalyptus, blush and white roses.

Vows were exchanged under a round arch decorated by climbing greens, decorated with lisianthus and roses which perfectly complimented the surrounding nature while following the overall white, blush and green palette of the wedding day.

The aperitif was held in the gardens of Villa Serbelloni – the villa is famous for its cuisine and guests enjoyed haute cuisine finger foods and canapes while sipping Aperol Spritz, Hugo & white wine.

The formal wedding dinner was held in the famous Royal Hall of Villa Serbelloni. The hall with its frescoed ceiling, beautiful Murano chandeliers and large mirrors has welcomed the finest European aristocracy and it is truly spectacular.

The imperial dinner tables were decorated with glass high vases with a round slightly cascading flower composition. Stem glasses with floating candle and silver vintage glass votives with tealights only reinforced the overall magical atmosphere of the evening.

The wedding dinner menu was simply exquisite: a marinated salmon entrée was followed by a raviolo filled with cheese, spinach, egg yolk with a Parmesan sauce and black truffles.

Baked beef entrecote with marjoram butter potatoes and shallots was served as a main course.

The cake cutting took place at the veranda located right next to the Royal Hall. The couple opted for A naked Vanilla sponge cake with Chantilly cream and strawberries.

Later - guests kicked off their heels to dance until midnight while enjoying exquisite cocktails & artisan ice cream.
