A Fairy Tale Castle Wedding in Tuscany - Alina and Shawn

Tuscany is a region with some of the most spectacular castles in Italy - but this is without a doubt one of our favorite "fairy tale"  wedding venues in Tuscany. 

Perfectly situated in the heart of the region, surrounded by magnificent countryside, it offers spectacular views over Chianti from its beautifully laid out Italian style, landscaped gardens.

Alina contacted us searching for the perfect Italian wedding venue - something that would be truly unforgettable.  After a quick look at the Italian Lakes wedding locations Tuscany caught her eye and in particular several castles.  In the end the choice was settled and the planning began!

On the wedding day, a Protestant ceremony with civil validity was celebrated in the charming chapel of the castle.  Aperitifs followed, served in the enchanting open air courtyard while a lively folk trio serenaded guests.  The castle is surrounded by a forest and park where photos were also taken.

Guests were greeted by a spectacular imperial table - beautifully laid out with carefully designed florals, candles and special fairy lights. The floral palette of pinks, white and lavender included a stunning bouquet of peonies.

Raffaela of the DIW team during the year of planning was able to bring to life Alina's vision and dream for her destination wedding in Italy.  And on the wedding day, everything came to life exactly as planned!

Thank you so much for everything, your company has been absolutely amazing to work with and if I had to do it all over again, I would not change a thing!!! As I have told everyone since the wedding, this was a true dream come true for Shawn and I. It exceeded every expectation we had and was more than I could have ever hoped or dream of. Raffaela and Antonella were wonderful and it was so great and special to have them both there for the big day. I cannot put into words how special and perfect everything was. I would be very happy to be a reference for you.

As mentioned above everything exceeded our expectations. The ceremony was beautiful and the Pastor did a wonderful touching job at delivering the message and service. Antonella and Raffaela were so kind, calming and caring throughout the entire day. We were in great hands. The location was breathtaking. No picture could ever do it justice. I do not believe there is a more peaceful, beautiful place on earth. Everybody who worked at the Castle was fantastic the day of and the day after the wedding. We loved all of the flowers, they were picturesque, the food was great as well. The folk duo was one of the highlights. They were so fantastic and everyone loved them. They really set the tone for the entire evening. My only regret is that it did not last longer :) No one was ready for the night to end.
