Florence Wedding at Villa Le Piazzole
Laura and Nick are a very energetic couple from Canada. With Italian heritage on Nick’s side, they were sure that Italy was the perfect place to marry and chose a Renaissance Villa just outside Florence 10/15 minutes from the city center.
Laura works in the beauty industry and is a very well-organized bride, in fact she was 100% focused on the planning – that is why she loved our planning management tool so much! Nick works in fitness. He trusted Laura and left her holding the reins of the planning.
Laura and Nick chose Villa Le Piazzole, an enchanting villa nearby Florence city center, which also provided accommodation for the entire family and close friends. The intimacy of being all together greatly enhanced the celebration.
For her wedding look, Laura chose a very simple and classic hairstyle; being such a stunning bride, she did not need much enhancement!
In the meantime, Nick enjoyed his time at the Villa with friends and relaxed until last minute – lucky groom!
It was a very intimate and romantic ceremony, with floral décor in the shades of white, cream and green, perfectly matching the Tuscan landscape framing the couple and their guests.
Laura asked for a slightly messy bouquet with cream and blush roses and olive sprigs – a similar décor followed throughout the tablescape and ceremony arch.
The ceremony ended with a special celebratory toast with 2 Champagne bottles from their birth date, which Laura’s father had kept in his private cellar for such an occasion!
With typical Italian cocktails like Negroni and Aperol Spritz, accompanied by traditional small canapés, everyone enjoyed their aperitivo in the Villa’s secret garden, shaded by century-old trees. Guests were serenaded by a swing band, who performed during all the key moments of the celebration.
During this time, Laura and Nick also had their portraits time with photo team and had the occasion to take some pictures nearby Piazzale Michelangelo, with a view over the city of Florence with its unforgettable skyline. The groom absolutely wanted a vintage Alfa Romeo spider for this moment!
For their Tuscany wedding reception, Laura and Nick aimed to replicate the atmosphere of an Al Fresco classy outdoor dinner, and they perfectly manage to do it! Long wooden table, crystal and gold touches, with a rich olive and rose festoon created a gorgeous look – complete with magical fairy lighting.
After the cake cutting, the after dinner started with the same swing band who entertained the couple and their guests until midnight, with Italian swing songs!
At the end of the night, Laura and Nick could not have been happier about their dreamy wedding in Tuscany!
