Celebrate your Lake Garda wedding in Lazise!
Lazise is named after the Latin word "lacus" which means "village on the lake". Its origins date back to Roman times. During the Middle Ages inhabitants built a very important castle fortress whose ruins still dominate the panorama making for quite a romantic backdrop.
Lazise's main square is very attractive, leading to the delightful harbor and ancient streets lined with family owned restaurants and lovely boutiques.
A Lazise wedding ceremony will be performed in the town hall, on the main square. The hall is inside a graceful palace, there is an attractive foyer and staircase which leads upstairs to the wedding room, decorated with ancient furniture and rich fabrics. It will hold approximately 40 guests.
Wednesdays are market day in Lazise (mornings only), the town becomes quite congested during market hours and we advise choosing a different day for your Lake Garda wedding.
