The Garden

Step into the charm of the 1820s with our timeless English-style garden.

• Promenade & Lakeside Garden: Perfect for intimate ceremonies or receptions.
• Roof Garden: Elevated and private, accessed via a pebbled path from the Villa to the Glass Pavilion.
• Teak Dock Arrival: Guests can arrive by boat for a glamorous entrance and enjoy Italian-style aperitifs among roses, oleanders, camellias, and azaleas.

• Music ends at 12:30 AM; optional extension until 1:30 AM.

The Glass Pavilion

A newly built structure inspired by 19th-century greenhouses, located at the heart of the garden.

• Size: 390 m² (4,200 sq ft), accommodates up to 350 guests.
• Design: Double-height ceiling (3.6 m), skylights, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors.
• Seasonal Flexibility: Fully open in warm months; enclosed and heated in cooler weather.
• Connectivity: Linked via underground passage to the Historic Cellars and restrooms.

The Historic Cellars

Located on the lower floor, these vaulted spaces offer a unique setting for after-parties and late-night gatherings.

Possibly the finest luxury 5* villa and palace hotel on Lake Maggiore and certainly one of our favorite venues for a spectacular Italy Lakes wedding reception and honeymoon.  The Villa interiors, gardens and location are simply magnificent for an unforgettable event.  It is no wonder that famous names have sought solace here such as : Liz Taylor and Richard Burton.

The Villa & Palazzo overlooks the enchanting Borromeo Gulf, with stupendous gardens and terraces - perfect for a wedding reception and aperitifs.  Inside the villa's natural park, you can enjoy romantic walks surrounded by majestic trees, gorgeous flowering azaleas and rhododendrons which create a riot of intense colors.  The interiors, completely renovated in 2000 by the owners, drip with sumptuousness. Marble columns, aubusson tapestries, and walls decorated with luxurious fabrics create an atmosphere of opulence.  Light and the incredible views filter in from the huge bay windows allowing you to drink in the panorama, wherever you are.

The dining room is our favorite hall. You must see it to truly appreciate what a remarkable room it is and how incredible the views are. The Isola Bella, the Isola Pescatori and Isola Madre, romantic and amazing places, are directly in front of the Villa creating a marvelous panorama for you and your guests to enjoy while sipping on champagne.

The rooms are regal, no expense has been spared for guests' comfort with lavish bathrooms.  But the piece de resistance of this property is without a doubt the SPA. In our travels we get to see quite a few luxury spas but we think this is the ULTIMATE SPA; "the" place for a bride and wedding party to be pampered before their big day!  The design and golden mosaics are one of a kind.
