Borgo Corsignano Wedding in Tuscany

Wedding at Borgo Corsignano, Tuscany
Francesca and James are the definition of a fun-loving, adventurous & nature-loving couple and their wedding in Tuscany was one we will not soon forget!
While visiting Tuscany, they had no doubt that Borgo Corsignano would be the perfect venue for their Italy wedding getaway!
They chose this unique venue to create an intimate, warm atmosphere and have the chance to welcome their guests, who came from all around the world, together under one roof.
Borgo Corsignano offers the rustic feel of a countryside all the couples dream about. Between its little streets and squares, you can rediscover unforgettable glimpses of country life whilst still being able to enjoy luxurious comfort.
The site, is composed of 4 exclusive villas and 16 self-catering suites, making sure there is something for everyone. The two scenic swimming pools, the spa, the large lake, sport fields, fitness activities and art paths will give your guest something to talk about for the rest of the year. This place is a real gem if you crave a wedding immersed in Tuscan nature!
Borgo Corsignano is also a perfect Italy wedding venue for multiday celebration due to its endless outside spaces and breathtaking views - perfect for rehearsal dinner, pizza or pool party without having to use the same space twice.
The three day Borgo Corsignano wedding celebration unfolded with each day delivering new surprises.
Day one welcomed all their guests during a relaxed evening pizza party in one of the historical lemon houses of the Borgo. This gave everyone enough time to settle and relax before the BIG day.
Day two was the wedding day! It began in one of the stunning property suites where Francesca had her hair and make-up done while the elegant groom and best man relaxed outside sipping prosecco and Aperol spritz, enjoying the perfect temperature of a September afternoon.
Francesca was surrounded with so much love from her bridesmaids and her mother. The bridal party remained with her until she was ready to step into her beautiful ball gown wedding dress. It matched perfectly with the slightly messy bouquet consisting of four different kinds of roses in the shades of white and blush.
The bride was stunning as she started walking down the aisle towards James who had been restlessly waiting for her under a beautiful flower arch embellished with a composition of greeneries, hydrangeas and roses– serving as a frame for the enchanting Tuscan hills.
The movie like scene was accompanied by romantic tunes of Francesca’s favorite song a Thousand Years by Christina Perry, played live by a string duo.
The couple read their own vows and had a unity ceremony following an antique Celtic tradition - tying of the knot - which symbolized the binding of groom and bride. These personal touches during the ceremony left many guests in tears.
After the ceremony the couple sneaked out to have their fairy-tale photos taken by Andrea Pitti who perfectly captured the emotions of the day.
The reception was held in one of the courtyards of Borgo Corsignano. The décor was a refined mix of elegant and rustic. The guests were seated behind U-shaped wooden table decorated by garlands consisting of olive tree branches, eucalyptus and laurel. This floral composition together with the twinkling crystal vases filled with floating candles created a truly magical atmosphere.
The overall feeling of the whole celebration was extraordinary and full of joy. We can’t imagine a more perfect Tuscany wedding day.
